Daydreaming In Art-#4
He can hear her voice calling
Oscar, Oscar, Oscar while
thoughts seduce her.
"No man on Earth is a lucky as I"
Those words being part of his thoughts too.
He daydreams about her whimpering,
as the cold brush moves down her body in finishing.
Oscar has lust on his mind,
he decides to write her a love letter
and he will do it in his dreams.
In his dreams he can see what is not seen;
in the real world.
He heard the banging on the door,
polished voices, acapello songs,
he heard the old man's drunken voice,
the bedroom door slam.
Too drunk to use a key.
He was only seven years old then,
but it was still in his head,
After he'd led them in, he'd run in his room,
to cover his head with a pillow; the voices louder,
the music louder
always two or three
then another door would slam,
the old mans bedroom door,
there would be laughter,
moans, the smell of tobacco
seeping from underneath the door,
then after a long night; silence
He promised he wouldn't turn out like him
His bride would not come from the streets,
she would be a beautiful virgin, and she
would never leave his room.
