Fundamental Desire

Clouds take me with you
where’ve you go,
so I can ride to where you stay,
move, push, carry me

Winds blow my way,
move and push the ink
in mind towards the
other side where you
rest still and I can dictate
quietly and mellow

Perhaps my Ying Yang
will think clearly on
my behalf,
talking in my sleep
is not enough,

I write a bit and fall asleep,
awaking to an owl’s alarm,
I scribble a word
incoherent and when
fully awake I can’t
make sense of it,

let me fade with you
night moon till the
hour when the rooster
calls on me to write
a memory, after a
refreshing night of
your company,

walking through labyrinth,
puzzled in this maze,
in search of a finishing
touch, yet I am somewhat
passive,

I believe my time will
soon come, as I am
bound to find my
way in the circle
of  poetic words
