Al centro di questo meraviglioso album (Officium Novum), trovo un brano di straordinaria bellezza: "Litany". Le note scritte da Nikolai N. Kedrov riescono a toccarci nell'intimo e ci travolgono: merito dell'intensità emotiva generata da Garbarek che sa fondere magnificamente il suo sassofono con il celeberrimo complesso inglese.
"Litany" è un insieme di tre partiture vocali:
a) Litany di Nikolai N. Kedrov
b) Otche Nash da "Lipovan Old Believers"
c) Dostoino Est di autore anonimo
