OLHOS COR DE MEL

Olhos brilhantes!...Ó olhos pequenos!
Olhos que fulgiam ao relento!
Olhos que corriam mundos, serenos...
Olhos de um outro tempo!

Olhos cor de mel!
Sim!...Olhos de olhares tão púrpuros...
Olhos na cor desses céus!
Olhos que olhavam inseguros...

Ó, mas que olhar que à vida passou,
E que muita saudade deixou...
Cintilando!...Fulgindo no ar...

Sei que fui esse olhar!...A cor do mel,
Que fulgiu brilhante nos céus!
E que cintilou até se apagar...
