Neste mundo tão sombrio
Neste mundo tão sombrio,
até Deus nos esqueceu.
Estamos todos perdidos
buscando um ideal,
tentando evitar que
nossas almas apodreçam
enquanto nos arrastamos
como condenados.
Será necessário que
soframos indefinidamente
para sermos dignos?
Seria bom que Deus
visse nossas lágrimas,
que são as gotas de sangue
dos nossos espíritos.
Há muitas chagas
invisíveis, cuja dor
devemos aguentar,
fingindo que sorrimos
e que superamos
toda a revolta
por estarmos presos
neste mundo tão sombrio.
