"DE BOA"
A vida do caipira
é Deus quem abençoa.
Da cama ninguém o tira,
ele quer ficar “de boa”.

Se o caipira tá de pé,
não é porque o galo cantou.
Foi o cheiro do café
que o caipira acordou.
Ele acorda com preguiça,
e ninguém dele caçoa.
O tempo não desperdiça,
só fica mais tempo à toa.
É sempre a mesma rotina
porque o sono o atordoa.
E até dorme de botina;
ele sabe: Deus perdoa.
