O POETA NÃO PRECISA VIVER
É imperatiivo ao poeta escrever.
Pode dizer a verdade
e, algumas vezes, mentira.
Despertará em uns a vaidade,
em outros, quem sabe, a ira.
O poeta supera qualquer vício,
menos a mania de escrever.
Pode ser prolixo, pode ser conciso.
Mas, sem poesia ele não pode viver.
“Pelos versos, navegar é preciso”.
Para o poeta, viver nem é preciso!
O poeta é bêbado e na inspiração se embriaga.
Navega distraído por inexistentes mares
e ancora em sonhos de inatingíveis céus.
É onde ele consagra sua poesia nos altares,
revelando enigmas, descerrando véus.
