Lá vem o boiadeiro cantando pela estrada
Há um sabor de saudade em sua melodia
Como o carro de boi canta a mesma toada
choro triste e repetido durante todo o dia

vai chegar cedinho no ranchinho de sapé
Vem feliz, cantando, tangendo sua boiada
