As cores, que o amanhecer a todos oferece,
e as translúcidas gotas frescas do orvalho,
que escorrem da fina teia que a aranha tece,
são divinas tais lágrimas do velho carvalho.

As folhas que despejam o verde na paisagem
gotejam rios que o solo fertilizam e umedecem,
reverenciam as coloridas monarcas de passagem
e os improváveis espíritos que na mata crescem.
