É A VIDA...

Amigo, não irá chover, hoje não;
é a tarde que empurra o dia e vem nublar o meu sertão.

Quem vê como termina um dia assim tão lindo
nem imagina que é o futuro sorrateiro que está vindo.

É nosso presente fugindo e que vai ficando pra trás;
e ao virar passado, não voltará nunca mais.

Nosso final vai se aproximando a cada feliz aniversário
e a nossa vida passando como as contas do rosário.
