Que faria eu?
Se um dia te perder, que seja engano,
Um sonho vão que ao despertar se apaga.
Pois teu amor, que em mim se fez oceano,
É chama viva que no peito alaga.
Sem ti, o mundo perde o seu fulgor,
O dia escurece, a noite não termina.
És meu sustento, meu fiel vigor,
O norte que a minh’alma descortina.
Que faria eu sem teu calor tão puro?
Errante, preso à sombra do passado,
Um náufrago sem rumo em mar escuro.
Mas por enquanto, tenho-te ao meu lado,
E peço ao tempo, sábio e sempre seguro,
Que em nós deixe o amor eternizado.
