A alma entendeu
Estampa viva, luz que me aqueceu,
Nos olhos dela a dança da alvorada,
Um brilho manso, riso em face rosada,
Que ao me encontrar, o mundo floresceu.
Sem uma fala, a alma entendeu
Que o tempo ali cessava a caminhada;
Era a alegria, pura e desarmada,
Feito um jardim que nunca se perdeu.
Se havia dor, partiu-se em sua face,
Pois cada olhar trazia primavera,
Como se o céu por dentro se abraçasse.
E ao vê-la assim, tão clara e tão sincera,
Soube que o amor é mais do que enlace:
É ver no outro a paz que o mundo espera.
