As palavras que eu escrevo
São esperança para os pobres,
A alegria das crianças,
A liberdade para o escravo,
As palavras que eu escrevo
São simbolo de amor,
De puro amor
para o coração humano,
Mas simbolo de luxuria
E ganância,
No mundo dos ricos,
As palavras que eu escrevo
são a infelicidade,
De uma família
Que um parente perde,
Ou que de noite
É assaltada,
As palavras que eu escrevo
São simbolo de vida,
De alegria,
E também tristeza.
