ESTRADA DA VIDA
O homem almeja a vida eterna
Busca a fonte da juventude
Conservando a beleza externa
E quer que a ciência ajude
Por enquanto isto é utopia
Esta longe de acontecer
Muitos esperam por este dia
De poder a morte vencer
E outros por ironia pedem
Na sua tenra idade
Aos caprichos da morte cedem
Cansados da realidade
O mestre do universo determina
O nosso estágio na terra
E no fim a nossa obra examina
Quando a carreira encerra
A vida é como uma estrada
Que tem subida e descida
No caminho está registrada
As marcas desta corrida
É um acidente de percurso
Que leva o fraco e o forte
Para ela não tem recurso
Ninguém escapa da morte
