Seguia um grupo de soldados
A caminho da Trafaria
Quando receberam
Pela radiofonia
Uma contra-ordem,
Segundo o posto de comando
Foram mobilizados,
Para o lisboeta emaranhado
E a direcção ao Carmo
Tomaram,
Para auxiliar os que lá estavam.
Entretanto outro grupo,
Que na Rua Nova do Trindade
Estava estacionado,
Recebeu o mesmo mando
Do posto de comando,
Tendo a toda a velocidade
Se juntado aos demais.
