De repente acordei
Como se acordada!...
Veio ele se despedir
Em plena madrugada...
Uma súbita dor
Invadiu minh'alma
E se aprofundou tanto
Que me rasgou em prantos
Numa sólida e blindada solidão...
Ele se foi...
O sol se apagou,
A chuva chorou tempestades!...
Meu amigo, amor, herói...Se foi...
Meu mestre e condutor...
Meu pai por que me deixou?
Agora estou só neste mundo
Sem sua presença,
Sem o senhor!
Agora fiquei perdida,
Sem rumo ou volta,
Sem o seu conselho preciso...
Desejando ir embora...
Serás eternamente presente
Pra mim que o amo tanto e infinitamente...
Pois saiba que hoje invejo a Deus
