De repente acordei
Como se acordada!...
Veio ele se despedir
Em plena madrugada...
Uma súbita dor
Invadiu minh'alma
E se aprofundou tanto

Numa sólida e blindada solidão...
Ele se foi...
O sol se apagou,
A chuva chorou tempestades!...

Meu mestre e condutor...
Meu pai por que me deixou?

Sem sua presença,
Sem o senhor!
