Ladram uns cães a distância

Ladram uns cães a distância
Cai uma tarde qualquer,
Do campo vem a fragrância
De campo, e eu deixo de ver.

Um sonho meio sonhado,
Em que o campo transparece,
Está em mim, está a meu lado,
Ora me lembra ou me esquece,

E assim neste ócio profundo
Sem males vistos ou bens,
Sinto que todo este mundo
É um largo onde ladram cães.
