Ela saiu pela madrugada fria.
Seu coração em dois dividido.
No peito aquela alma se sentia
Sem brilho, um escuro vertido...

As lágrimas eram seu alimento...
Sentia-se um farrapo de gente
Sem apoio, confiança e sustento.
Na impureza da vida divergente.

Nada lhe apetecia o riso na face...
A indigência não lhe permitia
Oportunidade de escolha, realce
A sua máscara de beleza vazia.
