À DERIVA

Posso até perder o brilho dos meus olhos,
Mas jamais, deixar de ver tanta tristeza.
No esbanjar de pratos sobre minha mesa,
Vejo a fome refletida nos teus olhos.

O que faço se estou preso ao sistema
Onde a indiferença
Sobrepõe a caridade,
Onde a verdade
É varrida
Pra debaixo da mentira
E onde a vida
É um barco à deriva
Sem ações de piedade?
