TEM BOI NA LINHA, SIM SENHOR

Com este sol e este calor
Tem boi na linha, sim senhor.
Na linha do trem que vem
De Vargem Grande, meu bem.

O trem não pode parar.
Este boi vai atrapalhar,
Sinhazinha precisa chegar
O padre não pode esperar.

Seu padre não fique nervoso,
A festa vai ser um colosso.
Só não tome o vinho do altar
Antes de a cerimônia realizar.

Depois do ato concretizado,
Ponha a batina de lado
Venha pro terreiro dançar
Felicidade ao par desejar.

Mas se não houver um corajoso,
Almofadinha ou andrajoso,
Para desobstruir a linha do trem
Casório só no ano que vem

Porque o boi continua na linha
Comendo do chão a graminha.
Corre pra cá, ó maninha,
Da curva o trem se avizinha.
