Sorte (Hermann Hesse)
Enquanto vives perseguindo a sorte,
não estás pronto para ser feliz,
ainda que seja teu o que mais queres.
Enquanto te lamentas do perdido,
e tens metas e não te dás descanso,
não podes saber o valor da paz.
Só quando a todo anelo renuncias,
sem objetivos nem desejos mais,
e já não dás à sorte qualquer nome,
já a maré dos eventos
não te atinge o coração,
e se acalma tua alma.
