COIMBRA

A Coimbra das algazarras que não amo,
É negra e rude pelos seus cantos,
Onde golfadas de morte, espantos
À nobreza egrégia do meu ramo!

Aqui sonhei tanto e tanto perdi!
Sofri o dia a dia para vir a amar,
Culminante em Guimarães a chorar.
Rego em ti beijos que desaprendi!

Já te sinto como peso nas costas,
E não sei até quando poderei eu,
Dar-te os poemas que tanto gostas!

De ti levo solidões rodeadas!
Levo um cheiro a saudade, a dor!
De ti Coimbra, quimeras murchadas…..
