Uma luz no chão (Ferreira Gullar)

Pretendo que a poesia tenha
a virtude de, em meio ao sofrimento
e o desamparo,
acender uma luz qualquer,
uma luz que não nos é dada,
não desce dos céus,
mas que nasce das mãos
e do espírito dos homens.
