Não, ainda não pude digerir o que vieste me contar
Paro por aqui! Cesse tudo o que a antiga musa canta
A lágrima congelada ficou presa dentro do meu olhar
E o poema estancou amordaçado na minha garganta

Para mim és o canto suave e doce de uma sereia má
Que encanta o pobre marinheiro com seu doce cantar
És o suicídio de todos os sonhos pueris que inventei
Não há mal que sempre dure e isso ainda vai passar

Fui atraída para a profundeza revolta do teu mar oceano
Por tua música cheia de encantamento, melodia e sedução
E agora recolho os cacos e os estragos de um amor cigano

São somente os restos e destroços de uma doce viagem
Cujo navio afundou antes de atingir seu traçado destino
Afoguei-me em ti ao querer sentir o teu amor selvagem
