Uma simples pena,
faz brotar serena, a melodia,
fala de orvalho, da dormideira,
cheira a flor, da macieira
Uma simples pena,
faz jorrar o verso, puro e sincero
fala de dores, de corpo e espírito
chora as mágoas, de forma e serena
Uma simples pena,
faz acender a chama, da lenha
fala de amores, fogo da paixão
transborda alegrias, se torna canção...
