Para onde é que vão os versos
que às vezes passam por mim
como pássaros libertos?
Deixo-os passar sem captura,
vejo-os seguirem pelo ar
- um outro ai, de outros jardins...
Aonde irão? A que criaturas
se destinam, que os alcançam
para os possuir e amestrar?
De onde vêm? Quem os projeta
como translúcidas setas?
E eu, por que os deixo passar,
como alheias esperanças?
