O SORRISO DO PALHAÇO

O palhaço vai para o camarim
Pinta na cara um sorriso artificial
Para parecer sempre alegre assim
Alterando o seu estado emocional

O mundo é um grande picadeiro
Onde os atores fazem parte do jogo
É um “topa tudo por dinheiro”
Querendo ver o circo pegar fogo

O artista espera o reconhecimento
Aplauso é a sua moeda corrente
Que revigora o seu talento
E o ajuda a seguir em frente

Quanto vale o sorriso de uma criança
E a satisfação incontida dos pais
O palhaço vai levando a esperança
Sem poder demonstrar os seus ais

Ao fim sem dinheiro e planejamento
Quando vão escurecendo suas vistas
Da platéia vem o esquecimento
Ele vai parar na Casa dos Artistas.
