Death

Death is the great escape
from a dreary life sentence
the eternal peace
             that we seek

Death is the punctuation found
at the end of the complete
thought, we call
                             life,
but it is up to you to choose
if it will be a coma, period,
exclamation
           or
question mark . . .

as for myself
Death is a poem that ends
                                in an ellipsis . . .
