a smile
word or touch
spark a connection

the mouth begins to salivate
the taste so sweet
you can't forget
this cotton candy treat

the tongue warms up
to touch the lips
a savor of pure bliss

at first it may become
a temporary crush
just a game to excite
until you've had enough

if it last a week or so
you might be on the highway
to heaven and cuddle
to its warmth

love can be touchy
having its ups and downs
