Colorful leaves dance
And pirouette on the wind,
The season's ballet.

Becomes a striptease, leaving
Naked tree branches.

Reach to the sky like fingers,
Stretching for more sun.

Shadows fade into darkness,
Full moon on the rise.

Orange glow illuminates clouds,
Stars shimmer in sky.

The day's warm air dissipates,
Cool nights fill the void.
