Há uma solidão neste mundo tão grande
que você pode ver em câmera lenta,
nas mãos de um relógio
Pessoas tão cansadas, mutiladas por amor,
ou pelo não amor.

As pessoas não são boas com as outras
Os ricos não são bons com outros ricos
E os pobres não são bons com outros pobres
Nós estamos com medo.

Nosso sistema educacional nos mostra que todos
nós podemos ser malditos vencedores.
Não nos foi dito sobre os
marginais ou os suicidas
Ou o terror de uma pessoa
que agoniza sozinha.

Mais odiadores que amantes
As pessoas não são boas umas com as outras
Talvez se elas fossem, nossas
mortes não seriam tão tristes

Deve haver um jeito que
nós ainda não pensamos
Quem colocou esse cérebro em mim?
Ele chora, exige
Diz que há chance
Se nega a dizer não
