Estrada real: caminho dourado da colônia

Estrada desbravada por tropeiros e bandeirantes,

Suas pontes de pedras, construções e chafarizes,

Tesouros legados do séc. XVII, no Brasil-Colônia,

Ruínas e caminhos que geraram povoados, vilas e cidades

Aonde circulavam mercadorias e riquezas da Coroa

Diamante e ouro, em seu leito percorriam desde Minas

Aos navios no Porto do Rio, com destino a Portugal

Real estrada fruto da união de três caminhos

Estende-se por Minas, Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo

A rota dos diamantes, o caminho velho e o novo

Lugar onde a história deixou vivas suas marcas.
