O LUTO DE ANTONELLA

Aguarda em silêncio...Tão minha!
E na vastidão da areia que envolve o mar,
Perdida!...Antonella vaga sozinha,
Tentando em vão me encontrar...

As ondas se agitam em tantos torvelinhos,
Destarte, pra lá e pra cá...
E vão todas, assim, de mansinho,
Imergindo as saudades no mar...

A tristeza grassou-lhe os lábios sofridos...
E na dor que Antonella tanto definha,
Ficaram os meus adeuses perdidos...

E olha, e chora, e espera em luto nupcial!
E no tálamo da areia mais fina,
Espraia-se na dor de um sofrer tão feral!
