A FORMIGA E O PREGUIÇOSO

O preguiçoso no banco do jardim
Observa uma fila indiana
Eram formigas num trabalho sem fim
Mostravam uma força sobre humana

Carregavam folhas nas costas
Cinquenta vezes mais pesadas que elas
O preguiçoso buscava respostas
De como havia tanta força nelas

Indiferentes ao observador sonolento
Elas levavam o alimento sem parar
Armazenavam aproveitando o momento
Antes de o inverno chegar

Quando o inverno chegou
A formiga estava sossegada
No lar seguro ela se abrigou
Sua família estava amparada

Observa a formiga, preguiçoso.
Aprenda esta grande lição
Quem leva a vida, ocioso
Não é digno da sua porção
