Passarinho na gaiola
Passarinho na gaiola
vive querendo escapar
para no azul do céu planar.
De dentro da gaiola,
num mundo limitado,
vê as árvores e os outros
pássaros, que não
vivem entre grades,
desesperados para escapar.
O passarinho está cansado,
não quer mais de ninguém depender.
Quer voar, fazer seu ninho,
obter seu alimento e
a si mesmo prover.
De que vale ter
tudo de que precisa
sem a liberdade desfrutar?
