Gritos na noite
De quem serão esses gritos,
cujo desespero atinge minha
alma tão profundamente
quanto um punhal
a carne penetra?
Estará essa alma
tão além de qualquer
consolo ou felicidade,
terá visto algo tão
horrível ou insuportável?
Queria até ela ir,
tocar seu interior,
perguntar o que a aflige.
Mas dela longe estou,
não posso fazê-la saber
que desejo sua alma tocar
e seu coração acalmar.
