T R A L H A S
Carregados de milho e palhas,
rasgando em sulcos a estrada,
levando as pesadas cangalhas,
atalham os bois na invernada.
Lá vêm os dois carros de bois
que apontam na curva do rio.
Um boi parece que canta, pois
que na verdade canta um trio.
Canta boi, o carro e o boiadeiro,
chorando com o peso da tralha.
E os três cantam o dia inteiro,
mas comem o milho e a palha.
