SEM PONTO FINAL

Não fosse este vento frio
não fosse esta janela batendo
seguindo o compasso do meu violão
não estaria nesta choupana da beira do rio
sorrindo por fora, por dentro sofrendo
ajuntando cacos do meu coração

A turbulência desta água barrenta
semelhante a meus anos derradeiros
me traz muita dor e arrependimento
como ninguém sabe ninguém lamenta
me afastei dos amigos boiadeiros
e vim sofrer sozinho este momento
