ABANDONO

Aonde esta estrada poeirenta poderia me levar?
Para quem canta o riacho seu triste burburinho?
Porque vieram estes pássaros, para mim, cantar,
se integrado nesta paisagem eu me sinto sozinho?

Já estou há tanto tempo sentado neste degrau
da porta da tapera que um dia me viu nascer;
e a todos que passam na porteira eu dou sinal
mas estão alheios à vida e figem não me ver.
