Eu faria toda curva, reta
e retos os teus caminhos. E, para não te ferires
no lugar de espinhos eu colocaria arco-iris.

Ah! Se eu fosse poeta...
todos os dias da semana seriam uma festa.
Tu serias a mais linda bailarina, a que mais brilha
nos passos contagiantes da colorida quadrilha.

Ah! Se eu fosse poeta...
meus dedos deslizariam suavemente pela celesta.
E tu, ao meu lado, num solfejo angelical
cantarias ao mundo um poema celestial.
