FUTURO DO PRETÉRITO

Nós nunca somos os donos do tempo.
É ele que nos gasta e nos possui.
Distrai-nos ao passar o seu momento
e delicadamente pela gente flui.

Sugere que estamos vivendo.
Mostra-nos uma vida alegre ou infeliz
e vai os nossos dias corroendo,
tatuando a alma e apagando a cicatriz.

Quando percebemos bem lá na frente,
já estamos presentes no futuro.
Se nossa jornada foi um tanto diferente,
não vou saber por onde me aventuro.

No tempo existe uma sensibilidade
muito frágil que nos surpreende;
vai nos encaminhando para eternidade
e da matéria um dia nos desprende.

num caminho sem porto sem retorno
a silhueta do velhinho amável
é enobrecida pelo sol em seu contorno
