A GAIOLA

Ainda sou o pássaro amarelo dentro desta gaiola.
Para te ver feliz, canto contente quase o dia inteiro.
É a vida perfeita para mim, então não vou embora.
Não pense que eu queira sair e voar deste poleiro.

Você pode deixar sempre a pequena porta aberta,
e mesmo que a vontade de pairar e dominar o céu
me desperte a dor ou a tristeza, numa hora incerta,
fico te olhando extasiado, esperando pelo teu mel.
