A ESTRADA COMEÇA AQUI

 

Muitos por ela irão seguir.
Ninguém sabe onde termina
e nada se sabe do porvir
ou de cada um qual a sina?

Até parece uma procissão
seguindo em fila desde cedo.
Não sabem para aonde vão
Apenas carregam o medo

O vento sopra as folhas mortas
sujas do pó desta estrada.
Estão fechadas todas portas
e todas as janelas cerradas.

Os que estão por trás das cortinas
na penumbra de cada morada,
sob a luz das lamparinas
riem da sua jornada.

E você segue com o rebanho,
porque você é ordeiro.
Para você nada é estranho
pois você nasceu cordeiro.

Vivem esta vida e aguardam a morte.
Se conformam com o que vier.
Se guiam pelo azar e pela sorte,
e seja o que Deus quiser.
