Encontros e Partidas
Muitas vezes, eis que me percebo caminhando
Em estradas de remoto lugarejo
Divisando povos, continentes
Sigo sonhando,
E de passagem pelo Tejo
Por mares nunca navegados dantes
Outras vezes, eis que me percebo retornando
Em cantatas do velho órgão barroco
Ouvindo Bach na ária para a corda sol
Ou no Messias de Häendel, levitando
E na abstração do momento, troco
Os mares pelos ares, agenda pelo rol
Quantas vezes, nos reencontramos
Em algum porto distante,
Recantos de capitães, nativos e marujos,
Na mesma cantina, festejamos
Mais um encontro, outra partida anunciante,
E aquela velha canção nos incansáveis realejos.
