Poema do ébrio
Estava tomando gim,
saí,
tropecei, caí,
bati com nariz
no capim.
Estava sem dindim,
corri,
eu cansei, sorri,
os outros zombaram
de mim.
Sujei meu terno de brim,
perdi,
se chorei, nem vi,
eu estava
assim-assim;
resolvi ir pr'a casa,
dormi.
Às vezes é bem melhor ir dormir.
