RECORDAÇÃO DO AMOR

Recordação do amor

Já me bateu o peito, docemente
Anos e anos um sossego aventurado
Fez-me amar alegremente
Fiel a um sentimento emocionado.

Verdade que houve lágrimas
Mas não caíram elas por despeito
Apaixonei-me sem lástimas
Deixei crescer alegria no peito.

De tanto rir, fiz a viagem
Dos amantes ardentes
Os corações por vezes trazem
Palpitações inexistentes.

Todo o meu corpo encontrou
O êxtase de querer eternizar
A quem amou
Recordar.

Hoje afogo em poesia
Esse tempo que não voltou
Guardo-o com humildade
Em versos de melancolia
E de imensa saudade!
