Neste bocadinho que escrevo:
Não estou noutro lugar...
Vou molhando o relevo;
Sem me saber desculpar.

É o céu que me comanda! ...
O vento em desalanto
O passo que em mim desanda
Largado ao pensamento.

Que poderá um homem dizer,
Depois de tanto o que não foi dito;
Ou, então, que mais fazer, ou, perder...
... Ou, não se encontra convícto...
