“Escolha”

Pacientemente:
O inimigo do Homem ronda em torno dele...
- Òh miséria, òh dor! ...
E de que modos afrontosos,
Ou diversos, o ofendera ele? ...
-Apenas uma gráça caláda,
De misericórdia
Ou um regozijar de falso amor...
- Corro para longe, saciando-me na solidão;
Afastando o prodígio amargo da humanidade;
Aproveitando os sonhos ardentes no coração:
Para derramar no papel, um pouco dessa verdade.
