Tomara que essas muralhas tombassem

Urdindo idiotas de estribaria

Que da água, flores brotassem

Pérolas de paz e alegria

 

Tomara que os corações cantassem

Canções de amor por voz completa

Que logo ali, olhos se alegrassem

Com cantigas de sorrisos, fazendo festa

 

Tomara que o céu chegasse

De cores virgens Transcendentes

Tomara que se encantasse

Com obras de todas as gentes

 

Tomara, tomara que fosse assim

Para que voltasse, sem deixar de o ser

Tomara que ficasse, enfim

Tomara, tomara que o pudesse entender

 

Tomara que tomasse o tomado

Tomando o que tomasse satisfeito

Tomara que vertido ou entornado

Tomara que o tomasse de todo o jeito.

que as flores nasçam suaves ...

Tomara que a cançaõ volte ao peito

tomara que o mundo viva o perfume do amor perfeito ...

Tomara que tomasse o tomado

Tomando o que tomasse satisfeito

Tomara que vertido ou entornado

Tomara que o tomasse de todo o jeito.
